This georgette dress with the black tube work on the front is one of my favourites. I love flowy fabrics and dresses that have minimalistic work are right on my forte. The tube work was done by hand by a group of women working for a company run by a Mr.George in Thiruvallur district. George told me that they have trained the women in the village in embroidery and i saw some of their work and it was wonderful. They do work for brands like Guess, Gucci etc. Time we make use of the talent found locally and encourage them. I for one want to engage more of their services which may be more expensive but then again i feel happy supporting local trade. #supportlocal
