While I do love my silks , i came across the interesting article published by Beauty Without Cruelty ~ India on the Ahimsa Silks.
It does make me question the entire silk manufacturing process. Do check out this video below on how how Tussar silk is made. What would be your stand on Silk Production? Give up the traditional Kanchipuram Sarees ignoring the source of the silks or ignore the cruelty (if u can call it that) to the 1500 silk worms that are killed to make one meter of Silk – Food for thought.
